What's the status of 1.7.x? I've started to use it because I need to do edge routing in ECS, and 2.2.x doesn't support it. I have a few fixes improvements for 1.7.x but I don't know if you are accepting patches.
One fix is small, adding support to get current region from ec2 metadata for the dynamodb provider, in the same way ecs provider is doing. Also, I want to add security for the stickiness cookie.
